Volunteer Edmonton will provide a 4 day course on Volunteer Management: An Introduction. This course is geared to those who are new to your role in volunteer management and feel a need for some more formalized training. Or is your organization just beginning to build support for a volunteer program or in the process of implementing a new volunteer program?

The following topics will be covered:

Day 1: Introduction to Volunteerism & Planning for a Volunteer Program
Day 2: Recruitment & Selection of Volunteers
Day 3: Training, Orientation, Recognition & RetentionInvestment in Volunteer Involvement
Day 4: Risk Management

Cost: Course fees includes course materials and GST.

Time: 9 to 3 pm (45 minute lunch break - lunch is not provided)
